Master in Public Health
Students at the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine have the option to earn a Master in Public Health (MPH) in addition to the Doctor of Medicine (M.D.). The MPH will be granted through Virginia Tech and will add an additional year of study for students who would like to pursue this option.
The Master in Public Health program was announced in the fall of 2010 and was approved by the Virginia Tech Board of Visitors in the summer of 2011, officially establishing a new department within the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine that houses the degree program.
