Starline Trolley Service

   

The City of Roanoke also operates a bus service called the Starline Trolley that has two stops near  VTC. The Starline Trolley runs from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. with stops every 10 minutes along its route, which extends into South Roanoke and to Market Square downtown. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., service runs every seven minutes. Please note: The last buses will leave the Market Building and Roanoke Memorial Hospital at 6:50 p.m.

Shuttle Service to and from the Blacksburg Campus

In addition, Virginia Tech's Fleet Services operates two 12-passenger vans connecting the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine and Research Institute to Virginia Tech's main campus in Blacksburg.

The vans stop outside the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine and Research Institute in Roanoke and make three stops in Blacksburg:

• Perry Street Garage
• The Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine building by the main entrance to the animal hospital on Duck Pond Drive
• Research Building 26 in the Corporate Research Center by the main entrance to the building
