The Class of 2014 was asked to write essays before their White Coat Ceremony, explaining what receiving a white coat means to them. Cynda Ann Johnson, M.D., M.B.A., president and founding dean of the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine, reviewed the essays before the ceremony.
